Part designs can be received in a variety of 3D formats (see below). Once they are in-house, Matrix utilizes Unigraphics to design the necessary tooling. The 3D models are made accessible to every stage of production from quoting to mold sampling and production. Even our Quality Assurance department has access to the 3D design data in order to compare physical results against reference designs.
