Senior Process Engineer (Retired)

With over 48 years of plastics processing experience during his career, Brent enjoys sharing his extensive command of polymer science with others, and has written many helpful blogs on various topics over the years. Brent came to Matrix as a seasoned molding expert in 1999 and retired in 2018.

PAT COLLINS

Molding Operations Manager

Pat's responsibilities as our Molding Operations Manager revolve around keeping our three-shift molding operation running smoothly, so that our customers receive their products to specifications and on schedule. He began his plastics career as a molding machine operator in 1983, and joined Matrix in 2007.

GARY JOHANSSON

Vice President - Quality/Regulatory

As Vice President - Quality/Regulations at Matrix Plastic Products, Gary heads up our Quality Department and is the primary technical quality interface with our customers. He began his toolmaking apprenticeship in 1973 and has been with Matrix since its inception in 1978.

RITA JOHANSSON

Accounting & HR Manager

Rita’s primary areas of responsibility include Human Resources and Accounting, including administration of payroll and employee benefits, financial reporting, business insurance, and governmental compliance. She has been with Matrix since 1979.

HANS NOACK

Design Engineer (Retired)

Hans is the mastermind who can take the most challenging print, part or model and design a mold to satisfy the customer. He’s been a moldmaker for more than 50 years, and worked at Matrix as a full-time mold design engineer until his retirement in 2020.

ANDY ZIEGENHORN

President & CEO

Andy focuses on leadership, strategic planning, and the continued growth of Matrix Plastics Products. He has been with Matrix since 1998, and as a result of his hands-on experience in a variety of key roles, he knows our business operations from the ground up.

ANNE ZIEGENHORN

Sales & Marketing Manager

Anne's responsibilities are to communicate with customers and connect them with the solutions that Matrix can provide. Anne is also the Deputy Management Representative for our ISO 13485 & 9001 QMS. She has a BS from Northwestern University and has been with Matrix since 1995.

PAUL ZIEGENHORN

Co-Founder (Retired)

Paul, a talented moldmaker, co-founded Matrix in 1978 with his brother, James, and his father, William. He served as our President and Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2018. A long-time champion of educating the next generation of moldmaking talent, Paul continues to volunteer his time with various trade organizations.

TOM ZIEGENHORN

Manufacturing Operations Manager

Tom's role as Manufacturing Operations Manager is multi-dimensional and straddles engineering, tooling and molding. He has been with Matrix since 1983, first as an apprentice moldmaker and then migrating into a number of different roles, including Shop Foreman and mold design and engineering
